The Begining

Location: Washington State

 My family and I are choosing to eat at least 90% locally produced food for the year of 2011. Our goal is to inform and educate people on eating local and how it can help the whole community.

Goals for 2011

- Interview 52 local farmers
     ( Brief history about their farm, what they produce, and how you can get in touch with them)
- Weekly in-season foods list
- Weekly recipes
- Gardening tips
- Events and local venues

 Please remember that eating local requires you to eat what's in season. This means that eating in the winter can be difficult, but possible.
